As a private tutor working with children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, I am committed to ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all my students. I take my responsibility to safeguard children seriously and adhere to best practices in child protection at all times.<\/p>

Key points of my safeguarding approach include:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Safe and Supportive Environment:<\/strong> Lessons are conducted in a safe, welcoming, and age-appropriate environment, whether in-person or online. I ensure that all resources and teaching methods are suitable for the children\u2019s age and development.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Professional Conduct:<\/strong> I maintain professional boundaries and treat all students with respect, ensuring a positive and encouraging learning experience.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Confidentiality and Privacy:<\/strong> Personal information about students and families is treated with strict confidentiality, in line with GDPR regulations, and shared only with relevant parties when necessary to safeguard the child.<\/p><\/li>

  4. Awareness and Reporting:<\/strong> I am vigilant for any signs of abuse, neglect, or concerning behaviour. Should I have any safeguarding concerns, I will act promptly, following appropriate reporting procedures to the relevant authorities.<\/p><\/li>

  5. Safe Communication:<\/strong> All communication with students and parents is professional. For online lessons, I use secure platforms and ensure that interactions are monitored and appropriate at all times.<\/p><\/li>

  6. Continuous Professional Development:<\/strong> I keep up-to-date with safeguarding policies, guidance, and training to ensure I provide the highest standard of care for the children I work with.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
